Webquest

I have learned through my Instructional Technology class that a webquest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. Within my future classroom, I could use webquest as a project for any content area that I want my students to gain more knowledge on, weather that would be in a history, science or an english class. I feel that webquest can be useful in helping students gain more information on particular topics in a fun and interactive way. However, if students are not familiar with using the web or distinguishing what sites are reliable and which ones are not, they could have trouble using webquest.

  1. Keep in mind that in addition to being a fun way to learn more knowledge webquests are a great way to help the students develop higher-order thinking skills.

Note: check your spelling of weather/whether.
